COzero is a registered member of the Chicago Climate Exchange, the foremost environmental exchange in the world, as an exchange participant.

Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) is the world’s first legally binding rules-based greenhouse gas emissions allowance trading system, as well as the world’s only global system for emissions trading based on all six greenhouse gases.

COzero Travel will retire, or remove, carbon from the environment on behalf of its members, stopping the credits from being sold-on at a later point in time. Once retired, credits cannot be traded further, ensuring that the carbon has been removed from the environment completely.
