UN IPCC Report

The World Meteorological Organization and the United Nations Environment Programme established the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in 1988.

In their own words, the role of the IPCC is to “assess on a comprehensive, objective, open and transparent basis the scientific, technical and socio-economic information relevant to understanding the scientific basis of risk of human-induced climate change, its potential impacts and options for adaptation and mitigation.”
In our words, they’re the most credible international body keeping an eye on the science of global warming. We think everyone should listen to what they say.
You may be aware of the furore caused by the release of its report in 2007, but it has been assessing and analysing climate change scientific reports for over a decade, and continues to do so.
